MasFajitas Mexican Restaurant | Our Story

Two brothers, one dream
MasFajitas began in 1997 with two brothers, a small town in Texas, and a deep belief that good food and genuine hospitality can build something lasting. More than 25 years later, that belief still drives everything we do.

How it started in Caldwell
Alberto and Mario Sorto came to the U.S. chasing the American Dream, starting as bussers at their uncle’s restaurant. In 1997, they opened the first MasFajitas in Caldwell, Texas, with family-friendly food and a genuine welcome at the door.

Growing across Central Texas
One location became two, then four, then eight — spreading from Caldwell to College Station, Georgetown, Killeen, Round Rock, Taylor, Temple, and Pflugerville. Each community embraced us, and we’ve tried to give just as much back.

Made from scratch, every day
The Sorto brothers built MasFajitas on a simple promise: real food, made with care. That means locally sourced produce, fajitas seasoned with a house-made blend, and tortillas that are homemade — because shortcuts just aren't part of how we cook.
Our family, your family
Whether it’s your first visit or your hundredth, you’ll find the same warm welcome Alberto and Mario built in 1997. Taking care of our guests, our team, and our communities is simply what we do.
